I loved this game as a childand i looked foreward to playing it again on my 2010 iMac but it wont even download and it says that it doesnt work

I honestly had no idea what to expect from this game, but after playing threw it, the simple answer is I loved it. The ability to pick between light and dark is a great feature, it some what allows you to change the chourse of the game. The movies and scripted conversation givies it a great feeling, making it feel like a "choose-your-own-adventure" movie. The battle mechanics are neat, and the ability to upgrade and change your weapons is very cool. If you like star wars and are looking for a fun game to play this is it. If you get stuck or need info there is tons of info on the internet.

I remember playing this game when it first came out for the X-box. It was my favorite Starwars game back then and after playing on the Mac still is today! Worth buying this game.

awesome game, im glad that all the good pc only games are being converted, but what about KOTOR 2, are obsidian studios gonna convert KOTOR 2 to mac? cause i must have more KOTOR!!!!!!!

This game is pretty good. The story and action is cool, but it feels lke there is too much on your screen. Also the controls are weird and the graphics are bad.

First off, I have to state that I loved this game when I played it on the xbox. My issue, however, is that Ive been attempting to download this off and on for about three months, and every time it gets to approximately 1.06 GB it continues downloading until it gets to 1.08 GB then it goes back to 1.06 and the cycle continues for about half an hour. I dont know if the version Im downloading is corrupted, or if its just my computer or what. Im using a MacBook Pro OS 10.6.8 2.5 Ghz IC2D with 4GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM GeForce 8600M GT

I am a Star Wars fan, though not an avid one. i thought this was a pretty good game. Story: 9/10 Gameplay: 8/10 Graphics:6/10 Duration of Game: 9/10 Pros: a good game, plays smoothly, good story, decent campaign length, and the CPUs are well designed Cons: Graphics are pretty bad, (The game is old), when entering combat the games place tends to be very choppy because of the way the combat is made to be (pause, select opponent, select attack, unpause, repeat)

Thanks for releasing this on Mac. I got this game to run at 60 frames per second on a MacBook Air 2010! To do so, you must use these settings: - No soft shadow - No framebuffer effect However, you can use 2X AA and 8X Ansio (looks great), and keep regular shadows enabled, VSYNC enabled, 1024x768 Stretch. EDIT: (May 2011) - Originally, I had texture detail to low. I have since readjusted texture detail to medium or high resolution which is still usually 60 frames per second in most indoor areas and still 30 frames per second in large outdoor areas. The texture detail level didnt affect framerate nearly as much as softshadow/framebuffer effect -- those were the two settings that really affected MacBook Air framerate.

I had to adjust the graphics settings to get it to work, which was fine, but when I got to the part where I was in the Ebon Hawk it was all blacked out and I couldnt see anything, but the game was still playing.

Everytime I open it to play, the game screws up my desktop in one way or another. Im running on Mac OS Lion. The first time I played it, the game shrunk the size of my desktop screen. As a result, I deleted it. I tried reinstaling later and got messages telling me the download could not be completed. After a few unsuccessful runs, the install finally worked after about the fourth try. I gave it another try hoping to see some differnece, but that seemed to be as unpromising as the first time. The appearance of my desktop had shrunk, and the Macintosh HD icon had shifted up past the tool bar overhead so that it was out of sight. I dont know if its the game thats unstable or what, but buyers with OS Lion or Mountain Lion should think twice about purchasing this game. Im not sure all the bugs have completely been worked out.

I am running the app on a MBP 13" 2.9Ghz, 8 gb Ram and Intel HD 4000. I had to turn the graphics to lowest setting and still it freezes. especially after battle the movement will be frozen ("w" and "s" would stop working and i have movement in battle in options on) the movement issue would work again if I save on the spot and reload the save. love the game but freezing and having issues every 3 - 5 is very annoying.

Absolutely loved this game for the first 12 hours or so of gameplay! most fun ive ever had on a computer. However thats when it started crashing constantly during gameplay. Very frustrating. After searching in vain for days for a solution I uninstalled the game.

Im downloading this game now!!! I am so happy to be playing this game again, it is still one of my favourites and I cannot wait to play. This is still the one of the best star wars games out there. I think this game should be remade with the graphics we have today on other games. Do something similar to what 343 industries did with halo anniversary. Remake the game!!!

This game runs very well on my 2012 macbook 13". This game is a classic and is worth a play through if you are a fan of Star Wars or RPGs

This game is great for almost every reason, but it does not have very good role playing. It almost already has your future set out. But all in all great game!

No need to review the game, its a classic. The interesting bit is that it runs quite decently on my 13" MBP mid-2009 even if the video card, GeForce 9400M is an integrated chipset which are not supported. I did upgrade to 8gb of ram and a SSD drive though, so Im not sure if it makes a difference at all. But really, for 5$, you cant go wrong. If its not working now for you, chances are youll upgrade soon enough and youll be able to re-download it and enjoy one of the finest Star Wars game ever made!

Great Game! Works Great! Took a while to download, but after first boot had no graphics or crash problems and I run at maximum. If you love the KOTOR series and want to take it mobile I highley suggest you get this game. I am running new late 2012 13inch MBP Retina with i5 2.5 GHz and 256 GB SSD

This game is way ahead of its time. it is free roam, has great graphics, your decisions influence the plot, and it has a captivating storyline. for $5, what is there to lose?

This game is amazing! I bought it about a week ago, and it took me all that time to get through to the end. (It might not sound like much. But with how addicting it is, I was playing 3-4 hours per day.) Now, I dont know how it played when it originally came out, but there are TONS of things I like: -The game is beautiful. -The statistics and menus are very clear. -The storyline is AMAZING. -You dont have to do every mission in the game to complete it. -You can create your own character and play the game the way you want to. The only downside is the fact you cant play it after youve finished the final mission...
