Its definitely one of the best Games in the App Store but please add widecreen resolutions!!

The game is awesome, but it would be really nice if you could add widescreen resolutions for 27" iMac and all the other Macs :-) + KOTOR 2 please!

Very bad fighting system, maps too long to walk, no real instruction, confusing. Not worth buying.

The game is a fun adventure til you hit these iritating mini turret games they always come after a huge cut scene and you get left going through the cut scene over and over and Over and over and over ..... you get the picture I hope ... I finally dumped the game because there is no way i was doing that again... Too bad Aspyr so close to perfect :-(

Downloaded the game and jacked up every graphics features to maximum. Yes game is old and will not do 2560 x 1440 and you can tell this game came out many years ago. it is a good game feels like Dragon Age 2 except your character does not have a voice when he or she speaks like Dragon Age 2 has. As far as the role playing part of it it is a bit on the weak side but it is still fun. Also found that the combat was a bit clumsy having to disarm mines and stuff like that in the middle of a fight but you can ignore that. I run the game on a Imac 27 Intel core 2 Duo 3.06 with a 4670 and it did crash around 4 times in the entire game play so save often. Graphics are quite antiquated but all in all not a bad game. You can tell that this was the start of Bioware RPG style game. But all in all was fun.

Im sure this is a great game but it is not nearly as stable as Id hope. I always forget why I dont play it then I boot it up and within an hour it crashes and I remember thats why. Im running a 2010 MacBook Pro w/ 2.4ghz and 8GB of RAM. If this game needs more than that just to not crash then were all screwed. Dragon Age: Origins for mac (a newer game by bioware using the next generation of this engine) has similar obnoxious behavior (though its newer and thus even worse because performance is a much bigger issue). I wonder how many of the other reviewers actually played through this game versus leaving 5-star reviews based on previous experiences playing this game on other platforms where it actually did perform well and not crash constantly. Beware! If you are like me and occasional crashing just makes you stop playing a game you might not get your 20$ worth.

This game runs amazing on my MacBook Pro, I am very satisfied with it. I have the original game for PC but its incredibly buggy and slow. This version hasnt had any issues as far as Ive experienced, the graphics are smooth and quite detailed. It runs fine on the newest version of OS X. Great purchase. Now I just hope more LucasArts and BioWare games are made available for Mac, either on disk or as DLC.

there is so much gameplay because of the choice of dark side and light side. i think they should make the #2 of this game "the sith lords" for pc and mac. such an expansive game with different planets, different characters and the fact that you can choose your own fate makes it that much more realistic. all i can say is "thank you lucasarts and aspyr"!!!!

even after all this years, the game is amazing, great story, and it plays amazing on my 2011 mac mini

This doesnt work on the latest Mac OS X (Lion)….what a waste of time if they cant get it working…pathetic.

A fun game but there where glitches like my teammates getting in my way and skipping what the COMs are saying and the qrahics are not as good as the pictures show but with that out of the way, this is a fun game to play with a good story line and gameplay to match and everyone has a voice. definetly one of the best downloadable games on the mac. buy with good-awesome ecetations (sorry for my spelling)

KOTOR I, is by far, my favourite game for the x-box. Now it works, faster and better, no more lags (and no more falling through floors!), even on the highest of settings, on the Mac! Making it an all new experience! The graphics are amazing for a game released back in 2003! A define, 100%, recommended game for any Star Wars, and Mass Effect fans out there! This game will never get old, its a classic! Thanks Aspyr!

This is an amazing game! It runs great on my computer! The graphics, storyline, and everything about it is very well done and quite impressive. I totally recommend this game to Star Wars fans! Its truley a piece of art.

This game will not run on Case Sensitive (or Journaled Case Sensitive) HFS+ filesystems. If you attempt to run it, it will present you with a warning that says: “Knights of the Old Republic.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. Delete “Knights of the Old Republic.app” and download it again from the App Store. To solve this, you can try creating a 6GB "regular" HFS+ disk image in Disk Utility, and copy the Knights of the Old Republic.app from your /Applications folder to the image, and try running the game from there. Also, note that Intel graphic cards (that means GMA950 in Mid 2007 MacBook, or GMA X3100 in Late 2007 MacBook) are not supported by the game. You need an Aluminum macbook or better, with Nvidia or ATI video card to run this. Lastly, the game is inconsitent under MacOS X Lion (10.7). Seems like AppStore version was QAed under Snow Leopard, so it might or might not run for you. 10.6.8 is probably the best version of MacOS X to run this game on.

Probably the worst game I have ever played. Waste of money, do not get.

Really great game, but too laggy needs some work on that part but the game its self is awesome. Please fix the lag because theres no reason for it, my macs specs are above and beyond needed.
